Sitecore releases 6.6.0 Update-1 (rev. 121015)

I am happy to announce that Sitecore today has released 6.6.0 Update-1 (rev. 121015).

Sitecore 6.6.0 Update-1 is a regular maintenance update with addresses a number of issues.

The main highlights in this update are:

• The Sitecore login page now contains a meta tag that prevent robots from indexing its contents
• Page Editor fixes and improvements
• You can no longer delete the wrong content item in the Content Editor by mistake
• Bugfixes related to using engagement automation actions

Everything is already available on SDN, including:

• The release notes which describes the improvements and fixes in this update
• The update page which contains download links for the full distribution, as well as instructions for updating existing Sitecore solutions to the update.
