Sitecore releases 7.1 Update-2 (rev. 140324)

I am happy to announce that Sitecore today has released 7.1 Update-2 (rev. 140324).

Sitecore 7.1 Update-2 is a regular maintenance update which contains a few improvements and addresses a number of issues.

The main highlights of this update:

• Security vulnerability fixes to make Sitecore more secure.
• Support for running the Sitecore user interfaces in Internet Explorer 11.
• The new Media.MediaLinkServerUrl web.config setting lets you specify the server URL to use for media links
