Sitecore releases 6.6.0 Update-8 (rev. 140410)

I am happy to announce that Sitecore today has released 6.6.0 Update-8 (rev. 140410).

Sitecore 6.6.0 Update-8 is a regular maintenance update which contains a few improvements and addresses a number of issues.

The main highlights of this update are:

• Security vulnerability fixes to make Sitecore more secure
• Support for running the Sitecore user interfaces in Internet Explorer 11
